I have two of them for my dremel. I think there the best tool attachment.It worked fine but when you attach it to the Dremel tool you end up with a tool that is quite high and a little awkward. If you plan to use this attachment a lot, you should first consider a full size jigsaw. Also, this attachment only works with the Dremel 400 XPR. I think you could buy a full size jigsaw for less than buying the 400 XPR with the MultiSaw attachment. However, Dremel makes a small planer for use with the 400 XPR that is quite handy. So, if you were going to buy a 400 XPR, the MultiSaw attachment and the planer would be reasonable additions. Also, I think Dremel made a mistake by making attachments that only work with one model of tools. By doing so, they are missing a big piece of their own market by not designing an attachment that will work with all of their tools. If this attachment worked on all of the Dremel tools I would have rated it with 4 stars.Now don't be a dingbat like me and leave the collet in. Other than that the vertical fit is a little awkward but I was able to make my cuts.The only reason I give this attachment 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it comes with only one blade. Usually dremel packs back-ups with their products. I wonder why not here?But 2 gray plastic tabs at the saw's connection point prevent it from seating well. Ironically, you could use your Dremel to grind off the tabs and get a better connection to your non-XPR Dremel tool. But I am returning my MultiSaw because Dremel is telling me in multiple ways that it's not a good idea. Maybe it's overload issue.who knows?

Multichuck: If you have the Multichuck (4486) you don’t need to use collets, the multichuck fits all Genuine Dremel accessories with shank sizes from 0,4 up to 3,4mm. It works like a regular drill chuck and you don’t need to tighten it more than hand tight. When the chuck cap is threaded onto the end of the tool, over the collet, the fingers of the collet (slots) close around the shank of the accessory and hold it into place. If the grain is strong or sap is heavy in the wood, there will be even more heat than usual and an accessory could burn from the heat of the excess debris and trying to get through the material. Keep in mind that many router bits are actually constructed of tungsten carbide. These router bits are constructed of high-speed steel. They are not designed to rout on really hard or brittle material. It is critical to the life of the bit that the initial hole in the tile is made via a 45-degree angle. The glaze is tough, so it needs to be worn away.
